Privacy policy

Superscriptify publishes Instant Sheet Reports and Instant Row Highlighter. Contact info@superscriptify.com or our contact page with privacy questions.

Spreadsheet information

Reports reads the spreadsheet you choose, including workbook and worksheet names, values, formulas, calculated results, formatting, headers and table relationships. The browser extension retrieves an authorized Google Sheets export and processes it in your browser. You can also open a local XLSX file. It does not write values or formatting back to the sheet or upload workbook data to Superscriptify.

Parsed workbook data stays in memory while the dashboard is open, with a short background export cache. Source metadata and customization preferences are saved in extension local storage. The native Sheets add-on uses Google Apps Script to read only its current authorized spreadsheet and sends that snapshot to its Google-hosted report dialog. Preferences and license state are saved in that user’s Apps Script User Properties. Google handles this information under your existing Google relationship.

Row Highlighter reads the geometry of the on-screen selection outline to place a private overlay. It does not read cell contents. Its color, strength and enabled setting are stored locally. No native Sheets version of Row Highlighter is offered.

Exports contain the data and attribution you choose. Downloaded PDF and HTML files are under your control. Sharing one shares its included information; neither product sends exports anywhere automatically.

Licenses and payments

Safari purchases and trial transactions use Apple StoreKit. The app verifies transactions and shares access state with its extension through a private sandbox app group. We do not receive your Apple password or card details. Apple supplies purchase-related records through its developer services.

For Chrome and the Reports add-on, our licensing service receives a random installation identifier, product identifier, license key or private purchase-recovery ticket. It stores hashed installation identifiers and purchase tickets, trial dates, Stripe session/payment identifiers, payment or revocation status and processed webhook IDs. These requests do not include spreadsheet values, formulas, worksheet names or source URLs.

Stripe Managed Payments acts as merchant of record and handles applicable payment tax. Stripe-hosted checkout collects information needed for your payment, such as email and billing information. Card details go to Stripe, not the extension or licensing server. We can access customer and payment records in our Stripe account. Separate licenses are sold for each marketplace.

Hosting, retention and use

Our support pages and licensing service run on Superscriptify’s Render-hosted infrastructure. Network addresses are used transiently for rate limiting; hosting and payment providers may keep operational and security records under their own policies. Licensing records are kept while needed to honor permanent access and recover purchases. Transaction records may be retained for accounting and legal obligations. Ask support to delete records no longer required; deleting a permanent-license record may prevent future restoration.

These products include no advertising, behavioral analytics, tracking, sale of personal information, AI processing or use of sheet data for model training. We use licensing information only to provide access, fulfill and support purchases, prevent duplicate fulfillment, and handle refunds or disputes.

Your choices

Pause refresh, turn off the highlight, uninstall the product, clear local preferences, or delete exports whenever you want. Keep your permanent key before clearing storage. Removing an extension does not cancel or refund a completed purchase. Contact support for access, correction or deletion of publisher-held records or Apps Script preferences. Apple and Stripe handle their own payment records separately.

Limited Use

Our handling and transfer of user information complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy and the Google API Services User Data Policy, including their Limited Use requirements. Google-derived spreadsheet information is used only to provide the report you request. No human review occurs unless you choose to send a sample to support and authorize its use to resolve your issue.

Changes

We will update this page and its effective date when these practices change.
